Not saying Daigle or Stefan level, but in your opinion has Gagner reached his expectations for a 6th overall pick? His stats continue to drop, and has never reached fifty points. So what are your thoughts.

Not yet... But if he doesn't top 50 points in the next 2 years, then yes. What about Kyle Turris?

1) He's never played a full season, and has played less and less games since his rookie season.
2) The 2007 draft class' first round, with the exception of Patrick Kane (first overall), was the worst... until this year.

Turris isn't relevant IMO anymore. Kinda sucks to see he didn't do much, and no one expects him to anymore.

He hasn't been that much under. 79 games, 76 games, and then a drop to 68 and 68. Not everyone does, and still reach expectations.

Still, 14 games is a lot of hockey. Almost 18% of the season right there. Almost took that much for Kessel to get benched, and become hated by the media in Toronto.

Yet he was still able to score thirty-two haha, and produce more than Gagner.

Gagner's not a bust yet but i don't think he's ever going to reach the level of expectations people had on him when he was drafted.
Also Kyle Turris is definitely not a bust yet, to call him one is ignorant. KT is a Guy with a slight build, and it takes some guys longer to figure out the speed of the NHL. He led the team in pts/min, but the coach is notorious for no trusting young players. KT broke out against the Wings this year. I expect big things out of him next year. He looked like a legit top 3 guy.

1999. With the exception of the Sedins theres no good picks except for Havlat at 28th. JVR, Patty Kane, Logan Couture, Jon Blum, Lars eller and Max Pacioretty are some notables from the first round of the 2007 draft, not a bad group of players eh?

Oh and David Perron

He hasn't. I wasn't comparing the two, skill wise or w/e, was just using it to say that it isn't out of the question to consider someone a bust at 21.

Meh, I don't think he's a bust but he's definitely not making a good case for himself with a lack of production. He needs to get it together. Who knows, he could break out soon but it looks unlikely...
