Eagles interested in Plaxico

FoxSports.com's Adam Caplan believes the Eagles are indeed interested in free agent Plaxico Burress, as reported by the New York Daily News a week ago.
Personnel sources tell Caplan that coach Andy Reid has always been impressed by Burress' ability to "beat coverage with his size." In eight Giants games against the Eagles, Plax has racked up 650 yards and seven TDs -- five coming in the red zone, where Reid's teams have struggled of late. Plax will have to prove in public workouts that he still has some semblance of that elite ability as he enters his mid-30s.

I feel like every time I see the ball thrown to Avant, it ends up on the floor. If they had Plax on the outside as a red zone threat, along with the speedsters of D-Jax and Maclin... Damn. Jason Avant isn't the kind of player that will stop you from going after Plax.
