Or not. Phillies win it in 19. Wilson Valdez gets the win. That has to feel awesome for him. Congrats Phillies, glad it's finally over.

I know. I was hoping for at least 20. So close. Bet it's going to be fun to turn around and play at 1:05. At least it's between the same two teams and not one of them having a major advantage really.

Hopefully Tigers game happens tomorrow. Starting a 4 gamer against Boston, and we are giving Boston our best this series. Scherzer, Porcello, Oliver(hopefully he does well), and JV.

Never good when your starting pitcher allows 7 ER on 7 hits with 61 pitches thrown through a little over two innings. Never good when you have to go to the bullpen in the third inning.

Scherzer just couldn't fool the lefty heavy lineup today. He struggles against lefties. still a big deficit but we got a run last inning, and we just need to keep chipping away. Nice to see Andy Wilk just cruise along in his MLB Debut. Really saving the bullpen right now.

Still upset they called the game in the 8th. I swore we we're gonna come back lol.

Oh well. Always have the next game to get it together. Hopefully we do.

K-rod= best reliever in baseball right now. Which is so weird to say, but if you look at the season K-rod has been great this year. 15 saves and a .74 ERA, has only given up 2 runs all year. If hes not the best hes definitely top 3 right now.

Yankees are going to lose tonight. Pineda is a beast and we always suck against pitchers we've never faced before.

Well I might just be overreacting to what we had out there today lol. We need Hafner back healthy, and we need to get people like Jack Hannahan out of the lineup.

Tigers have some big issues right now.
I really don't think so. I mean yeah they've lost the last 2 games, but Boston has been heating like crazy lately. I didn't like seeing Porcello struggle today, but Furbush looked great again tonight. Plus, it's better to have all the guys struggle around the same time, so they can all get those bad days out of the way. I have the feeling Andy Oliver will be decent tomorrow. I'm expecting 6, Then Albuquerque, Benoit, and Valverde.

With Andy Oliver and JV the last 2 games of this series, I think we'll get the last 2. Even with Bucholz and Beckett countering. Plus, the Twinkies coming up. They just don't look good, at all. It helps that the Central teams aren't really getting anything going either.

They just have too many question marks going into every game. You never know who the starting second baseman is going to be, now Brandon Inge is getting a lot less playing time, LF and RF is always different. Who knows if Magglio will ever get back to himself, same with Guillen. Austin Jackson struggles offensively. You just never know what they are going to do, they are very inconsistent and have some gaping holes in the lineup that need to be addressed in some way or another. They have players starting, at times that would never even make the team on a lot of teams. They win 7 in a row, then they get in some slump and lose 5 in a row. The offense gets going for two or three games, scoring 7 runs, then they can't score any for three, or so. I know all baseball teams go through slumps throughout the season, but I don't think Detroit will get far with what they currently have.
