right now? yeah.

but that notion goes away once somebody else has some good games.

same thing with ZBo, people were calling him the best 4 in the league some weeks ago

right now, definitely
i dont know what happened to him. he's always been great, MVP, lead team to finals, all-nba, million ASG;s
but wow. you dont see a player just skyrocket at his age. he's playing better than he ever has, and it's not that everyone is just now noticing because his team is winning. i already mentioned his accolades. mad props. pure greatness

and as a fan of a western conference team, im glad he's 33 :p

He's got the most determination that's what I'll give him

He's got off. No one can stop him but he's not the best in the NBA

i guess i should say he's "playing" the best
consistent all postseason

KD, Rose, Wade, Bron have all had throw away games this postseason

Bron is the best

Yeah, i'd say its out of Dirk and LeBron. Both guys are showing up to every game. Well I think LeBron has actually had a few down games...

Don't think you can call someone the best "right now" unless they actually are the best player in the NBA lol.
He might be outplaying everyone, but regardless of statistics LeBron takes the cake for that role.

But obviously Dirk is doing something special.

yeah I'd agree that "playing the best" is probably the better phrase to use

I think Lebron does more on the defensive end that goes unnoticed by fans. Dirk has been amazing as of late and he's always been my favorite player in the league so I obviously have some bias. He just cant be stopped with his shooting.

One of the best, if not the best. I think it's just now that people are really starting to notice that he's one of the top performers.

I know nobody has said it, but I'll just go off topic here a bit.

The word great is thrown around too much in sports these days.

right now, the best scorer in the NBA. You can't say player because he doesn't create for others as well as a LOT of guys in the league (Lebron, CP3 etc..) and doesn't defend as well as some star caliber players, but when he has the ball in his hands, you're not expecting anything but 2 points.
