I, for one, accept and embrace the consensus last place finish for the Redskins.

Because that will hopefully lead to Andrew Luck. I will be more than happy to tank a season to get a franchise quarterback.
We might be fighting for him, lol.

I just hope the Browns are competitive and get near .500, which I believe we can with a couple of good free agent signings. We have two first round picks next year so I'm not concerned about draft position.

You can't say the Jags won't come in first... Anything can happen

I just see the texans and colts being better, and it being a crapshoot for 3rd

And kam, while the jags did improve, most teams did too

Those other teams improved just as much, if not more than JAX

Who knows how well teams improved.
Can't use really the draft because players could turn out to be busts.

Jags are expected to get 3/4 bigtime free agents. Plus the development of all their young players.

EVERYBODY IS GOING TO THE JAGS THIS OFF-SEASON

/kam
lol.

That didn't come out my mouth. I'm simply repeating what Gene Smith said.

He said they're looking to go out and get 3/4 bigtime free agents on the defensive side of the ball, which is why they went Offensive heavy in the draft.

Just because they're going after them don't mean they're coming, just like you've said with the Lions

Never said they were coming.

I said they're expected. Totally different than lion fans. Who just hear a name and automaticly think they're going to the Lions.

Jags won't go after Nnamdi or anything.

More Than Likely the few listed below.

Eric Weddle
Paul Posluszny
Thomas Davis
Etc.

Argue?

LOL.

I debate in anything I post in, because its what my opinion is.

It'd be a whole lot easier for people to debate me back, instead of being people just negative repping, and keeping it movin.
Dropping fbombs and trying to insult other people isn't debating kam. Saying, I disagree the Jags will be 3rd because...reason 1...reason 2...reason 3...that's debating. Not "Holy fuck, your fucking ignorant" or something along those lines.

I'll happily debate why the Jags will or will not finish 3rd with you, if that was the case.

You'd debate and state wrong facts/reasons because you know nothing about the Jags.

Just like you said we needed Dline in the draft, and obviously we didn't draft not one DT or DE.

And I could argue you don't know anything about the 31 other teams in the NFL aside from the Jags, and you'd probably have one of your hissy fits. Would you agree with that?

I know a pretty good amount.

Besides this thread/draft thread. I barely talk Jaguars here. So obviously I'm talking about other players/teams.

Of course you'd think that.

I'm curious though, why don't you think the Jags will finish 3rd? Do you think they'll win the division?

PP is a fucking monster.

Buffalo would be smart to lock him up with a giga-deal

Jags are still rebuilding. I think Gary Kubiak is a horrible coach, and some of the decisions hes chosen has cost his plenty of games. It'll come down to Indy/Jacksonville again like it did last year.

We're young and rebuilding. Garrard gave about 3/4 Games away for the Jags last year. If Gabbert can start and even put up with Flacco did his rookie year, but making sure the offense keeps ahold of the ball and be simply a game manager. Then I think we could overtake the Colts for division.

I'm not sitting here saying "Oh, Jags aren't first? Stupid" Im simply saying that most of these rankings are done by Talent on the team. When people think of the Colts they think of Freeney/Manning/Mathis and say "Hey, thats elite, they got defense, and offense there.. boom, 1st". Then go "Schaub,Foster,Johnson,Mario Williams, Now JJ Watt?, boom 2nd place". Instead of seeing the fact that the Jags don't have alot of big name guys that will be on ESPN and shit. They should, but since its the Jags and we're a small market team. We get shitted on alot. The players on the team still get the job done however.

Which is what I expect the Jags to do this year. Run the ball, Stop the run, and win 8/9/10 ball games.

Ever since Buffalo has switched to 3-4, he doesn't fit their system.

Just like Da'Quan Bowers wouldn't of fit the Pats if they selected him.

Although PP is a pure 4-3 LB.

See, you may have just convinced me. Kubiac is a terrible coach, why he's still there I have no clue. As long as Peyton is in the division, I can't see anyone beating the Colts...but it could happen.
