How exactly are you excited?

You begged and begged for Harris the whole first round/2nd round. Then when they trade up to maybe get him. They take a RB with the 2nd rounder, when they wasted one on a RB in the 1st last year?

DMNDS.

All I hear as a Jags fan is

"Watch Kam, hes gonna hate the pick whenever it happens, or wish for something to happen, and its not gonna happen, and hes gonna be fine with it"

But Lion fans Laugh at me in the face when I predict the Lions dont take Prince. AND THEY DIDNT.

And then yall act like Prince is shark shit because the Lions didn't take him. Then all of a sudden yall are happy with ANOTHER UT that plays the same position as Suh on a Dline.

Its not like they'll ever be together. If Suh or Fairley were the NT in the Lions scheme. They'd get RAN OVER.

But nope, its okay, because the LIONS DO IT.
LMAO. PLEASE show me where I begged for Harris lmao. I'm pretty sure last night I said I'd be not too happy with picking Harris in the 2nd round.

We have no back to back up Best. We now have a pretty good 1-2 combo.

I did want Prince, and would of been completely happy with him. Not once have I ever stated I disliked Prince. I challenge you to find me a time in which I said that.

And you are an idiot, we run a 4-3 scheme, therefore Fairley and Suh will always play together. Why the flying fuck would we take Fairley with a 3-4 scheme.

Shows you know nothing about football.

IN THE 4-3 SCHEME There is a UT, and a NT on the starting line along with the 2 DEs.

4-3 UTs in the NFL.

Ndamukong Suh
Gerald McCoy
Tyson Alualu
Kevin Williams
Tommie Harris
NICK FAIRLEY
ETC.
Their job is to mainly be the pass rushing DT.

4-3 NTs in the NFL
Terrance Knighton
Pat Williams
Phil Taylor
ETC.

Normally bigger shorter DTs that hold the point at the line, and clog blockers for linebackers to get through.

FAIRLEY AND SUH, ARE BOTH UTS IN A 4-3. They won't play together. Corey WILLIAMS IS YOUR NT. If Fairley and Suh played together, they'd get ran over due to nobody clogging blockers. Because neither are big enough.

Suh is like 10 pounds lighter than Williams and the same height. He will have no problems moving over. Plus both are still young and have room to bulk up.

Lol if you think Mayhew drafted him to not have him lineup next to Suh.

May have been wrong on who your NT is then, might of been Hill.

Suh can't play NT, neither can Fairley.

Both are UTs in the NFL.

Its like taking a SF, and putting him at Center in NBA.

Also, hes not gonna be next to suh, they said today hes rotating.

You dont start two UTs together.

A 4-3 NT.

A 4-3 UT.

How about you actually learn something about the NFL instead of acting like a pompous know it all most the time.

You don't understand. The nose in a 4-3 scheme occupies the center to prevent him from reaching the second level of the defense, and allows the linebackers to do their damage at the line of scrimmage. Suh and Fairley are both over 3 inches taller than the average NFL center, and will be out-leveraged by most skilled centers in the league. That's why most good nose tackles are shorter, heavier players. Fairley and Suh are both 3 techs.

Suh would be better suited to play that position though... but why would you draft Fairley and move Suh out of a position that he dominated as a rookie? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

LOL. In this point, I'm correct.

You got mad because you didn't know shit ABOUT YOUR OWN TEAMS SCHEME and that when you found out they wont start beside each other, you got pissed and only say "Worry about your Jags"

Which isn't a problem.

Normally whenever people bring the Jags into an argument about a different player/team.. it Normally means they ran out of shit to say, debate about.. and they're reaching. So I'll take your defeat as a you give up for lack of knowledge on NFL.

You act like Fairley IS Suh.

Hes dumb, has character problems, dirty, and a 1 year wonder. Completely opposite from Suh. Unlike everybody else, I don't see this being as "Dominant" as everybody else does.

Just because you don't a prototype 4-3 NT guy, doesn't mean you can't succeed. The Vikings D Line was pretty good in the 90s, but then again they had one of the best DTs of all time playing.

Not if one of the two can play the run well. Defending the run are neither Suh nor Fairleys strengths.
