He'd be the right fit for us. He's a young coach, which would be great to see him grow right along with all the young players. The right mindset has finally come to the Pacers, and that is play hard, leave everything out on the court and at the end of the night the very least you'll get is the knowledge that you did your best. He motivates the guys, and in a few years, this Pacers team will have the opportunity to be something very special if they keep growing at the rate they have been. We just need some good free agents, and the development of young players, which Vogel can help with both.Interim coach Frank Vogel will get the first interview for the Pacers' head coaching position.
Vogel certainly deserves it. He turned the Pacers' season around after Jim O'Brien was fired by getting Roy Hibbert's and Darren Collison's confidence back. He also put Tyler Hansbrough and Paul George in the starting five to help build the team's future. We'd be a little surprised if Vogel's interim tag is not removed.
