Yeah but now your getting boderline ridiculous.

1- This series is tied 2-2 after four games, and the Lakers haven't shown anything more than the Hornets have that says they can win this series. This series is up in the air.

2- If Kobe is hurt as bad as the media is letting on (and I really don't think he is, for the record) the Lakers won't win this series. They aren't up 3-1 or 4-0 right now WITH Kobe, what makes you think they can beat the Hornets without him?

It's just time for you to open your eyes and be objective, you've been saying the Lakers have nothing to worry about in this round from the start, yet here we are. Sitting tied up at 2-2 after four games, going to atleast six games. If the Lakers really didn't have anything to worry about, they wouldn't be battling for their playoff lives against the 7 seed Hornets.

Too me, with you saying over and over that the Lakers have nothing to worry about, even though they do have something to worry about, it just seems like your just trying to reassure yourself that, when you know that the Lakers are actually caught up in a battle, and by some slight chance, they might not advance.

In the Lakers defense, they are back to back champs and Kobe didn't play great every game in those runs.

Going to have to agree with Mex here. As much as I seriously dislike the Lakers, with West out, they've got nothing outside of Paul, and it's unrealistic to expect them to continue to produce at the same rate. Chris Paul will likely come back down at some point, and it's unlikely that guys like Okafor, Bellineli, and Landry will continue their level of play. It's equally unlikely that Kobe, Gasol, and friends will continue to play as poorly offensively as they have in the Hornet's losses.

Lakers have played well below their norm, Hornets have played well above their norm, and over a larger sample size, both will typically revert to their average.

Not saying that it can't be done, but, a Kobe Bryant injury nonwithstanding, the Lakers are still the favorite in this series.

that being said, fuck the Lakers and Kobe (and the Spurs, for that matter). I'm tired of the same old names in the Western Conference, ready for some new blood.

Players must be getting better.

Just wait til Jimmer Fredette comes into the league :p
Why do people have fetishes with white basketball players that arent even that good. So much hype surrounding those guys and they never amount to much. Kevin Love is the exception.

Jimmer isn't a good player, don't get the hype with him.

Magic's jumpers are back (as of now). If they keep shooting like this, the Hawks are gonna start sweating about this series.

JJ Redick is dribbling circles around the Atlanta Hawks today. Maybe the Hawks didn't come to play, but you gotta love this game if you're a Magic fan. Makes me firmly believe we can still take this thing.
