Bautista cant be defined by words; he's just a hell of a player. Glad we resigned him long term. If only he was a bit younger though; he'd be our franchise player.

I see Jay-Hey got his 6th homer, 12th RBI tonight. Only in the 4th, so he could add on to that. He's a nice young talent.

Agreed 100%
The guy is terrible. Strike Zone changes every other pitch, calls strikes that are 10 feet off the plate, holds grudges. He ejected Kirk Gibson a few weeks ago, I thought it was going to happen again tonight after a called third strike that clearly wasn't a strike. He's made so many horrid calls throughout the years.

That was the EXACT same location as tonight's pitch. How is that a strike?

This Bob Davidson call cost us the game

On April 10, 2011, with two outs during a tie game in the 13th inning, Edwin Encarnacion of the Toronto Blue Jays hit a weak ground ball over to Los Angeles Angels Third Baseman Alberto Callaspo, Callaspo hesitated for a second as he acknowledged Yunel Escobar about to cross the ball's path while moving up to third from second, and he fielded the ball but threw a wide throw that allowed Edwin Encarnacion to be safe at first. Davidson called Escobar out at third on an alleged runner interference, sparking anger from the Jays' bench because replays showed that Escobar did nothing wrong as he ran nonstop in a straight line from second to third base, and that Callaspo had indeed acknowledged the runner Escobar and had hesitated by choice.[neutrality is disputed] The Jays had a runner on third that had crossed the plate, but the run was discounted because the runner interference call made the third out of the inning, and The Angels ended up winning the game 6-5 in the 14th inning

Yup, that's Davidson for you. I recall a game last year with the Marlins where he called a game winning hit a foul ball and it clearly wasn't foul. How the guy still has a job is beyond me.

Which brings me to this question.....

Why does he still have a job? Does the MLB not care?

I seriously have never seen anything like Jose Bautista. How is it possible, I just dont get how quickly he exploded. There were no trends, no signs, no highly touted prospect label, not even a hitters ballpark factor. He cant be stupid enough to take steroids thats for sure. I really wonder if he can keep this up.

No ballpark factor? Toronto is a homerun haven.

Smooth move Raburn <_<

Ball hit his glove OUTSIDE of the warning track and bounced over the fence for a homerun.

Haha I remembered when Alex Rios did that in like 2007 at Fenway (I think it was 2007).
