thats not what the heat have done this year, and they wont next round either

Jermaine//Anthony

Garnett//Bosh

Pierce//Wade

Allen//Bibby

Rondo//James

Lebron wont be playing on him tho; he'll be off-ball
Nobody specific really guarded Rondo this year, sometimes it was Bron, sometimes it was Wade, sometimes it was Chalmers/Arroyo/Bibby

And I said it's what they should do, not what they will do. Bron is much better off on Pierce because Pierce has 3 or 4 inches on Wade

I'm just saying they will give ya'll a lot of problems. Ya'll can put Wade on Rondo but then Ray and Paul will murder you.
This.

And BC, even if the Heat put Wade or Lebron guarding Rondo closely, you act like Ray or Paul cant bring the ball up. They can easily, and find the mismatch.

But as Rondo said last night, its not about Paul or Ray gettin open, its our bigs setting picks. Big Baby is quick and weighs a fuck load. If Davis sets a screen for Ray on Bibby, thats 3 points for Boston. KG, and Jermaine, and Shaq too. Our bigs open up Rondo to open up the 3s

Boston will win in either 5 or 6 vs Miami

James (6'8")
Pierce (6'7")
Allen (6'5")
Wade (6'4)
Bibby (6'0")
Rondo (6'1")

Scenario 1:
James on Pierce: +1" for Miami
Wade on Allen: +1" for Boston
Bibby on Rondo: Rondo is 1000x quicker than the aging Bibby, and will attack the basket like a boss.

Scenario 2:
James on Pierce: +1" for Miami
Wade on Rondo: +3" for Miami, but Rondo wont be shooting, so height makes no difference
Bibby on Allen: +5" for Boston. Ray will go nuts

Scenario 3:
James on Rondo: (see point above on Wade v Rondo)
Wade on Pierce: +3" for Bostton
Bibby on Allen: (see above)

in any of these scenarios, the Celtics have a huge advantage over the Heat in at least one category

Paul and Ray can't bring the ball up, neither can play PG. You're not Miami where your SG and SF would be top 5 PGs.

We've fought through screens well all season, that's not really a concern.

The series is probably going 7 games no matter who wins, it will definitely not be over in 5

Huge advantage?

Bron on Paul, Wade on Allen, Bibby/Chalmers on Rondo

Not much size difference here.
And I highly doubt that size will be a deciding factor in this series. If Wade sets his mind to it he can guard Allen very well and limit his shots. In their last meeting, Allen only had 13 points on 9 shots.

lol u honestly dont watch the C's ever, because both Ray and Paul bring up the ball a lot, expecially when Rondo is out. And just because u bring the ball up doesnt mean your a PG.

Lol at you ranking them in height order and putting Bibby over Rondo despite having their height listed right there.

Anyway, I'm not worried about Ray's height advantage over Bibby, all Bibby has to do is put a hand in his face. Ray is gonna hit his 3s no matter who is on him, just gonna have to live with it.

Bibby on Rondo is a HUGE advantage for Boston. Ask any Hawks fan, or any avid NBA fan: Mike Bibby is slow. Rondo will go right by him every time. The whole "Rondo cant score" argument is gone; he had 30 against a shit PG too this last week

I was talking about putting Wade on Rondo and Bibby/Chalmers on Ray

We don't need to waste Wade on Ray, Ray is strictly a jump shooter now, he's not gonna get to the rim. Wade would stop Rondo from penetrating which is when he becomes the most dangerous

I wasn't ranking them, i was listing them.

And yeah, cuz the Knicks did so well with Ray draining eight 3's on them...

Lol the Celtics beat the Heat 3 out of 4 so that's not really a great arguement.

It looked like Bosox posted this game to show that Allen would indeed hit that many threes all the time, so yeah, this was to show how he did in their most recent meeting.

they also got blown out by Houston too. If they Celtics played Houston 10 times right now, Boston would win at least 8.

Last year, Boston finished the year 10-11 after April 9th. What happened next? they went to Game 7 of the NBA Finals

FFS, did I say that this game would be any indication how this series will turn out? No. Neither should be the first two games they played, since the Heat weren't even close to where they are now.

They beat us twice in the beginning of the season back when we had no idea how to play together, then we lost by 3 in February, not a very convincing victory for Boston

You guys are also worse than last year. Another year on Pierce, KG, and Ray and you don't have Perk anymore
