I never said I expect to hold Kobe to that again, just said Ariza played great D on him last night. When I said "probably the best he's played all season" you should have figured, "hmm a good defender, playing his best defense all year? He had to be over his head and will probably not do that again." Now I do expect Ariza to stay in his grill and make him work for his points. Not to mention Chris was just as instrumental in Kobe's struggles as Ariza was, Chris wore Kobe on the offensive end.

What we really need to figure out is how to keep Mek on the floor, it's pretty obvious he slept with one of the refs wife's or something. I don't have much to complain about in terms of officiating (there have been some ticky tack calls that you expect that Lakers to get, but nothing that I believe was really over the top questionable officiating, that just comes with being the 2 time defending champs and I don't really mind that) but some of these calls Mek is getting shouldn't be called, there letting everyone play but Mek. Even Gray had some questionable calls against him last night.
meka is always fouling though
game 1 bynum got in really quick foul trouble

who cares

as for the hornets playing good d on pau and kobe. definitely
but they should have still had better games, hornets are a really really good defensive team, but dude. kobe and pau wont be that bad again

So pissed I haven't had my laptop to discuss the playoffs this year thus far.

Shocked the Grizz got a game, but I think the Spurs will still get the series. I'd like to see an upset though.
Same goes for the Lakers. I just think this kind of shows that the West is ready to be taken over by the Thunder..
I didn't see Portland winning that series against Dallas, no shock there so far.
OKC is my WCF winner, so <3

Pacers have looked good, but the Bulls have looked better. Nice matchup though.
Philly just can't hang with the Heat.
Couple shots here and there and NY is up 2-0 on Boston. Just shows that they lack depth. Not this year NY.
Atlanta and Orlando is a confusing series. I think the Magic should dominate the Hawks, but they just don't.

I love playoff basketball <3

BTW, wrong thread but LOL at Kobe for the whole slurs at the ref thing. What an idiot.

Also, LeBron sold the most jerseys this year. I thought the world hated him? lol

That's only because he switched teams. Everybody already has Kobe jerseys, everybody already has Dwight jerseys, etc...

If everyone hates him, why would you buy his jersey? lol
I would never buy Kobe's jersey.

Derrick Rose IMO would be expected to sell the most. Or Amare.

Because there is pretty much no in-between with LeBron. Blind lovers and Blind haters so his jersey sales are still going to be incredibly high. And if you're a fan of him and lets say Russell Westbrook, you're gonna get the new LeBron Heat jersey over Westbrooks.

If Kobe switched teams he would be #1 too. When Kobe switched numbers his jersey sold so much. I don't think jersey sales = most popular.

Mek only averaged 3 fouls per game this entire season, dont you think it's weird that he quickly picks up two, sits on the bench until the 2nd, then quickly picks up the third? The refs eased up on how they called the game when it came to Okafor aonce the Lakers went out to a double-digit lead and mostly sustained it. This is what I hate about the NBA. The refs made sure to have an impact on the game early and in the middle. They can choose their spots where to impact the game, and they often do. Like I said earlier, the refs are doing a good job in this series. They are letting everyone on both sides play, except for Mek for some reason.

I agree with Kobe, he won't have 11 again. But there is noway you can say Pau won't be that bad again. He has shown nothing that says he'll make a bigger impact. Not one, but two eight point games while shooting 4-19. The Hornets have a good gameplan surrounding him. There's a better chance he has another eight point game than he blows up and goes for like 30.
