I'm probably the only Marvin Williams supporter left on this planet that is not in his immediate family but even I can admit this dude needs to get his ish together.

If you say so CC, your "the player is more important than the coach" argument has worse logic than DWill's posts.
I'm not saying Thibs isn't a major reason for their improvement this year. Without him, they're not the great defensive team that they are. But without Rose, like TYO, who scores for this team? Deng isn't a go-to guy. Boozer can't be built around. Everybody else on that team is a role player.

I always look at it like this. Take both off seperately and what team do you have. If you take Thibodeau off the Bulls, they're still a 4 or 5 seed (were 8 seed last year with a worse roster). If you take Rose off the Bulls, they're a lottery team, no questions asked.

That's just my opinion. It's not always true in every case, but in this one, I believe Rose is more crucial to the team's success. In college, it's completely different; the coach makes the team. In the NBA, it's much more of a player game. More isos, less offensive sets. Come on you know this.

I tried a couple on there, they didn't work, so I used Mex's. his is fine, I just got bombarded with ads early. Thanks though

Give me 200k a year and the right to draft the players..I'd have that team fixed.

I'd trade everybody away and get ready for the 2012 or 2013 draft depending on the CBA. Because one of those drafts are gonna be loaded with the future of the nba.

The Hawks need a disiplinarian. If it takes a roster overhaul to get this, so be it.
If we had a better coach we could make some moves here. We got the talent, we just aren't utilizing correctly. Not to mention a more vocal leader could help lol

I don't think that'd be a good move lol

Exactly. BUT, I'm not sure how this group would respond to such a coach. Don't think Josh Smith or Crawford would buy in, maybe not Johnson either.
