NFL.com - When free agency does finally begin in the NFL, the Jets may express interest in Randy Moss for two reasons.

New York may lose their best down-field threat, Santonio Holmes, in free agency. Also, signing Moss would keep the wide receiver away from rival New England.

Moss was traded by the Patriots to the Vikings last season. He ended up finishing the season with the Titans, but he's made it known that he'll like to return to New England.

The Jets will just have to learn you can't win titles by purely FA..

It's alright. They'll figure it out sooner or later.

It has taken Dan Snyder 12 years and counting to figure that out.

You act like we're only building through FA. Revis, Harris, Mangold, etc...

You're right. My bad on that, I stand corrected. The point is, this is just how the Jets' franchise operates. I don't really agree with it personally, and they'll always be hyped for big name players due to the fact it is a New York team. But still.

And where did that get you? Eliminated in the 2nd round by the team that is supposedly building through FA

okay then BC, tell me this: who was the last Super Bowl MVP that wasn't drafted to that team since 1998? Kurt Warner, and Drew Brees. And Warner wasn't even drafted.

12 of the past 14 SB MVPs were on the team that drafted them

Lmao, so what? One player clearly shows they're a good team because of their drafting.

Where did building through FA get you? A loss in the 3rd round to the steelers, and we ended up w/ the lower pick. So a team that went 14-2 last year will be even more dangerous. Only reason why the pats faltered at the end was because of inexperience...

No, you lost because you were an inferior team.

The Jets have been two 2 consecutive AFC Championship games, they're doing something right. And most of the team is home grown talent - Sanchez, Greene, Cotch, Keller, most of the OL, the DL [without Jenkins but he doesn't play anyway], David Harris, Revis...
