Phoenix made that ridiculous trade with Orlando for VC.
Utah lost a hall-of-fame coach and the best PG in the league, all in a span of two weeks.

Memphis is a strong team on defense and on the boards.

The West not good so great anymore? Bullshit. They're almost as good as last year, when every playoff team had at least 50 wins. I mean, come on, don't make such a stupid claim. Every team in the West would compete with seeds 1-8 in the East, whereas seeds 5-8 in the East would get trashed by 1-4 in the West.
