Kevin Love, who will be a restricted free agent in 2012, says he heard some recruiting pitches from players during All-Star Weekend.

Love could forgo free agency if he signs a contract extension with Minnesota.

"A lot of it was (about) OKC," said Love, referring to West teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

"A lot of it was a few other teams that just need that one more guy. And a lot of it was circulating around the Lakers, 'cause we were out there as well. There was a lot of pressure and a lot of questions were circulating, and I almost felt like, 'Damn, I have to take a step back and, not assess the situation, but kind of look at things from a broad horizon.'

"As far as right now, I love the city of Minneapolis. I like Minnesota as a state. I love the people here. Our team is very young. We have a lot of stuff going for us when you look past the win column. I think I just have to look at that come contract time."

I think OKC will still have cash though, and surely will be willing to spend.

He's a restricted free agent in 2012, he's not going anywhere.

they only offered him like $70Mill...ONLY(lol). if a team goes out and offers him the max deal he can get then i think they may let him walk.

a max deal sound horrible for him, but hes one of the better bigs in the league, young and improving. plus you need to over pay by a boatload if you wanna nab him.

I'd certainly give Love the max.
But sadly he probably ends up staying in Minnesota.

To be honest I hope he does.
Like what the fuck would the T-Wolves be without him?
I'd imagine he is the only reason people go to the games lol. The whole 5 people that do go.

Exactly. It's pretty sad.
They need to do whatever it takes to keep him and draft some GOOD players, rather these average dudes they keep ending up with.
Hopefully Rubio doesn't blow.

You mean like Travis Outlaw?
Horrible example.

That signing was just Rod Thorn screwing us over as he took his hat, coat and left.

There are some people here that truly don't know jack-shit, it's really embarrassing.

If OKC can get him, that'd be huge. But that seems like a big IF with Perkins.

Minny could be a real nice team if they ditched the triangle. Jonny Flynn could be a really good player but the triangle just isn't for him.

Flynn - Wesley - B-Easy - Love - Pekovic/Milicic is a real nice young lineup, minus the center position.

id agree. plus they have more picks and randolph to go with them. they could be solid. but they will never be a free agent attraction.

Yeah, they'll probably have a top pick this year, they should take Kanter if he's available. He's obviously risky being that he's from overseas, but he could potentially be a Bargs with worse 3-point shooting/better post play.

Jonny Flynn wouldn't fit many offenses.. He's a shoot first PG without a very good shot.
