You clearly didn't watch any Washington games. Sure, QB's carry teams all the time, but theres a point when a guy can only do so much. Football is a TEAM game, and without talent around you, you wont succeed. Lockers team was just so bad, on a different level than these other QB's you refer to.

Why do you think Peyton Manning dropped off this year? He lost lots of the talent around him. Even the best of the best need help dude.
Hell, even look at Kitna this year. The dude is real old, and lets face it, was never that good to begin with, but give him the talent and he played very well.

I like the JJ Watt jump. Big fan of this guy.

As for the Lions, still the consistency with Harris for us, and interesting with the pick of Titus Young in the 2nd. I don't like that. I know we need a 3rd receiver bad, but I don't want that being a guy in the draft. We can find one in FA. Ross Homan i'm not sure about either. I know he has talent and all but it's hard to warm up to the idea him being from Ohio State and all. I know that's a dumb excuse. If he's the best player available, when the pick comes around, I'm fine with it.

You will be among the many surprised at how far he tumbles in the draft.

Mallett doesn't have attitude problems. His footwork and foot speed is his weakness. Mallett has had private meetings with 11 teams and they all loved him in the meeting. From Pats coach to the Vikings and Jags his stock has climbed ever since the combined started.

You need me to link you to Locker's game by game stats? The kid is a bipolar nightmare. He bombed the ESPN Challenge and will not be any kind starting QB in the NFL, he might be a backup or 3rd string at best.

I'm not riding RM like you guys think. How did you guys speak about the draft and your guy in the same scenario? Get a damn grip.

The media has loved bashing him, but it's not doing them any good now. His talent and skill is speaking for itself and the kid will go before Locker.

If you guys wanna put money in your mouth I do have a separate PayPal account that is joint notice for sports betting and my eBay purchases. So if anyone wants to make a bet just hit me up and I'll be happy to double my money.
Lets see here.

1. Oh my, Jake Locker failed the ESPN Challenge. That automatically = sucking in the NFL. Why don't teams just quit the combine/prodays and make every college QB do a ESPN challenge. That will REALLY show whos going to step up in the NFL.

2. Jags interviewing Mallett doesn't mean "Oh, we're so interested in him" The Cowboys interviewed Cam Newton also. Doesn't mean they'll take him. Gene Smith doesn't draft any players with any type of Character concerns or rumored Character Concerns. If you knew anything about the Jags, you'd know this. They were probably more than anything just doing a checkup, like they do with more than half of the players at the combine. Jags also had interest in Kaepernick/Gabbert/Locker/Dalton. So don't get your hopes up on Mallett being gone at 16.

3. You've been riding Ryan Malletts pecker raw since you've been here. Anybody says one thing or doubts him, you jump in the thread with your Ryan Mallett PJs and your Ryan Mallett pillow and try to swat us away.

Dude, hop off the Ryan Mallett bandwagon before it spirals out of control. He's a mid 2nd at best because of the combination of his poor footwork, slow motion, meh accuracy, cocaine/other drug addiction, poor film habits, etc. I'm not questioning that some team will scoop him up in the mid 2nd just because of his rocket arm and tall stature, but I wouldn't want the kid on my team.

1. I didn't say his performance in the ESPN Challenge would automatically make him shitty. You are exaggerating my point. LMAO @ why don't teams just go by that instead of the combine. YOU said that not me. Way to run into left field with that one bro.

2. When a team requests an interview it is because they are interested in that player. Seriously did you just say what you said? Wow. Why the hell would they care to interview someone they are not interested in? You think they would waste their time doing that? Apparently so.

3. Once again you like several others exaggerate. I will defend my favorite player, anyone in my shoes would. There's no issue with that. It's more of a case of you being a prick about it.

Seeing as nobody wants to take me up on my offer via PayPal, which is secure and in no way would I be able to scam anybody, then shut the fuck up. Your opinions are one thing, but if you believe in that opinion so much then back it up with your wallet. I will be happy to double my money on anyone's ignorance.

Otherwise stop talking shit. Some of you guys sound like the media. AKA writing popularity contest. It's so easy to bash a player when he has never failed a drug test or has "attitude problems" when there's no one shred of evidence backing up any of the reported claims.

And obviously NFL teams aren't giving a shit about it either, or he wouldn't have interest from another 6 teams scheduled to interview him.

Guys need to get a grip on reality and turn the hate-o-meter down.

Theres more than 6 teams in the NFL who have QB needs, and they passed up on an interview with Mallett? Tells alot.

And yes, Teams do interview players for checkups, not just because they're interested in him. Also, most teams don't publicly tell who they interviewed, and if they do, then its a smokescreen.

Also, he could have failed a drug test, teams asked him to come clean about his past with drugs and he did. Thats why it said he was good in the interviews, because he was being honest and truthful.

QB is the most valued position on the field, you think a "FRANCHISE QB" as you make Mallett out to be, would get more interviews than 6. Gabbertt said he met with EVERY TEAM. Reallllllly shows who likes who.

Child please.
