if you hate tay you must hate rip, maybe even more.

i swear, fuck this team.

ill still watch and ill still go see games but im done rooting for them.

lakers and magic. thunder, too. fuck detroit.
I can't. I've loved Rip since he was traded here. Been my favorite player. I should be mad at him though.
I've never been huge on Tayshaun. He was my least favorite starter in 2004, was a main reason Dumars didn't draft Melo lol. Though Dumars is a fucking idiot and probably would of took Darko even without Tayshaun.

And I'll still root for them. Just going to kill me doing so lol.

Richard Hamilton berated Detroit head coach John Kuester in an expletive-filled rant on the practice court approximately one week before his banishment, according to sources.

Hamilton yelled at Kuester for his perceived failure during his two seasons with the Pistons and for being nothing more than a career assistant coach.

Hamilton was yelling at Kuester within inches of him, but failed to respond.

Several of Detroit's younger players privately told agents they wished they had the courage to confront Hamilton for his actions, but the veteran presences of Tayshaun Prince and Ben Wallace give Hamilton a great deal of support in the locker room.

The Cavaliers and Pistons worked out a trade to send Richard Hamilton and a lottery-protected pick in 2012 to Cleveland for a $12.6 million trade exception and second round pick.

Cleveland was most interested in the pick, but would have let Hamilton play for them. The Cavaliers have several other veterans playing heavy minutes, such as Antawn Jamison and Anthony Parker, despite their rebuilding efforts.

Hamilton was not interested in playing for a last place team and sought a buyout. Hamilton likely would have signed with the Bulls after clearing waivers, sources say.

Cleveland wanted him to take $18 million in the buyout, arguing that he could secure his 2011-12 salary now when it’s possible that money wouldn’t be paid him during a lockout next season. Hamilton rejected the offer and Friday's protest against John Kuester was a consequence of the stalemate.

like i said, all in all he would have lost $3.5Mill TOTAL! he said no over $3.5Mill.. TOTAL

he would have been a bull for longterm, likely. so why he made a big deal over that little amount of money is funny. he could have helped that team walk into the ECF. and he turned it down.

fool. hes doing this just to fuck with this team. rip could have really fucked us by joining the bulls longterm and always giving us hell. too bad he isnt that smart..

The Pistons have fined Richard Hamilton and Chris Wilcox for missing Friday's morning shootaround without an excuse.

Tracy McGrady, Tayshaun Prince and Ben Wallace had their absence excused. Austin Daye and Rodney Stuckey missed the team bus and arrived late.

John Kuester will remain head coach and the Pistons are not currently considering a coaching change.

Richard Hamilton and Chris Wilcox have been fined for missing shootaround without an excuse, but the Pistons are not planning a coaching change in the wake of the perceived mutiny against John Kuester, a person with knowledge of the situation told CBSSports.com Saturday.

The team engaged in lengthy organization meetings Saturday to discuss the latest meltdown in a season that has spiraled out of control. Though sources are downplaying a signficant rebellion against Kuester, a proposal to buy out Hamilton -- who had another in a series of confrontations with Kuester recently -- will be presented to ownership before the March 1 deadline for him to be eligible for another team's playoff roster. The chances of a buy out for Hamilton, however, are "slim," a source said, given that he has two years left on his contract.

Hamilton and Wilcox flew back to Detroit with the team after the Pistons -- with only six available players -- lost to the Sixers in Philadelphia. Both players are expected to be available Saturday night against Utah, but whether or not they play will be a "coaching decision," the source said.

Tracy McGrady, Tayshaun Prince, and Ben Wallace also missed shootaround Friday prior to the Sixers game, but all three had legitimate excuses, the person said. The Pistons' training staff confirmed to management that McGrady and Prince had been sick. Wallace is dealing with the sudden terminal illness of a close family member, the source said.

Austin Daye and Rodney Stuckey were late for shootaround, missing the team bus and catching a cab, the source said. They were fined for being late.

Whatever the reasons, the incident -- and the perception of a team-wide rebellion against Kuester -- has put the Pistons' already miserable season in an even grimmer perspective for the remaining 22 games.

Each of the most sensible resolutions -- buying out Hamilton or firing Kuester -- is complicated by the fact that the team is waiting for an ownership change to be completed. It is unlikely, sources said, that the ownership transfer would be completed in time for Hamilton to be bought out before the March 1 deadline for him to be playoff-eligible with a new team.

"This is not the climate where anybody wants to cut a big check just so a guy can go play somewhere else," said the person familiar with the Pistons' latest controversy.

Hamilton, who has two years and $25 million left on his deal, was close to being shipped to Cleveland at the trade deadline but could not agree to terms of a buyout with the Cavs.

As much as we all want Q gone, this is good. Because hopefully we will continue to do shitty and get a top 5 pick. Plus, we know he will be gone after this season anyways, so who cares. As for Hamilton, I really have nothing to say other than he's an idiot...

Joe Dumars is expected to release a statement before tonight's game.

my boy Terrence could put in some work for the boys in Detroit, but Calipari doesn't like the kid and called him a "Selfish Mother Fucker" so I would assume that he'd be just as bad for Detroit as Tay, Rip and the other assholes.
