Ike Taylor becomes FA.

The Steelers will not use the transition tag on free agent CB Ike Taylor.
According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the Steelers hope to be "competitive" for both Taylor and RT Willie Colon as they enter free agency. Taylor is one of the team's top priorities, but they won't want to get into a big bidding war. He turns 31 in May and has been inconsistent much of his career.

Hes old, but could be a good stop gap for a number of different teams.

Ike Taylor is a solid CB. He's so underrated, and I love the guy. He won't pick you off a damn ball, but I like him a lot in coverage. He had no help on the other side this year.

I think he'll be back in Pittsburgh though.

I've always found Ike to be overrated and most people in their secondary.. Their front 7 and Troy do all the work.
