Well hello there Sportz Insomnia.
Been a while, but there has been some significant changes to our staff, and I feel like this was a good place to post them.
For those of you who haven't noticed, AE is no longer around as an Admin. He stepped down due to personal matters. I have no knowledge of when he will be back, but when he does came back around if he is up to it, I do intend of adding him right back to the staff as an Admin. Though it started off rocky, what he did for the site outweighed the cons. I thank him yet again for his time on the site, and wish him back soon.
Next on the agenda would be the stepping down of kam and Baggino as NFL and MLB mods respectively. They both did a good job for how long they were on. I would like to thank them for their time of the staff, and hope they enjoyed it. I look forward to the prospect of having either of them back on staff one day.
And with them stepping down, it's obvious you need replacements for their spots. After a little of time of sitting back and monitoring the situation I came to a fairly easy conclusion of who will take their spots. For the NFL spot I will be promoting Mooche. For MLB I'll be promoting Bleacher Creature. Pretty much no-brainers to me, I think this will really pay off in the long run. Honestly really haven't felt this confident about my staff in a while. I'm excited to see the outcome of this. Feels good to assemble a staff you are confident in the way I am right now.
In other news though, we have had the NCAA/Other Sports vacant for quite a while. And I intend to keep it this way unless someone out there REALLY feels like they could take the activity of that section and make it much better. It's a very difficult spot to keep active, but if someone feels up for that please let me know and I'll give you the opportunity to try it out.
