Have you watched him play?

The kid has a nice release, DECENT footwork at best, and he does have some pop in most of throws. However, he shits his pants when he sees any kind of rush, he threw A TON of screen passes his entire collegiate career (I believe the most in the NCAA, or very close to) and he has terrible deep ball accuracy.

You want to spend a top ten selection on this kid with that many questions?
Your leaving out that Gabbert has a nice arm with very nice touch. Bradford also got scared shitless with pressure in his face. Screens don't mean anything, you look downfield and see what you have, if you have nothing, you check it down to the RB. I like Gabbert.

Complimenting his arm strength..

Seriously you want to compare Bradford and Gabbert in pressure? Bradford appeared and showed up in most big games, and when he had heat thrown at him. Bradford had WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better accuracy, and he actually threw a pretty damn solid deep ball. Something Gabbert can't do.

They run designed screens, it's not like Gabbert is always reading the defense and checking down.. It's a very vanilla and simple offense. He didn't come out guns a blazing and chuck the ball down the field all game or anything.. Safe passes are his forte.

He threw the ball all down the field in his bowl game...

dunno what you saw.

Bradford actually can't throw that great of a deep ball, doesn't have alot of arm strength. Gabbert does.

He threw a lot of comeback routes, and he throws the ball down field one game? That makes him prolific at that now? Please. Everyone loves to dick ride players in the Bowl games, it's the easy thing to do, but it's one game..

Bradford throws a nice deep ball, and his accuracy is second to none.. He doesn't have to have an absolute amazing arm, it's NFL caliber, and he puts the ball in excellent spots. His accuracy is second to none my friend. This is coming from a Texas fan who hates this guy.

If there wasn't such a need for QB in this Draft, Gabbert is a second round talent, and he's going to take time.

I believe you said that twice my friend.. We get it, your rubbing Bradfords dick off from riding it too much.

A typo, big deal..

Not dick riding any Sooner, just telling it how it is.

That's how a non-homer fan does it..

Point out where I said that.

I said earlier I am a Texas fan, and I bleed burnt orange, but I'll give props to a Sooner and tell it like it is.. That's all.

Relax.

All I said is that I'd take Gabbert and I don't find him overrated. Sure he has to learn, but every prospect/QB has to. Even Bradford did.

Oh, without a doubt.. I think Bradford is definitely getting too hyped at this point. We can both agree on that. They want to point out the stats, and yeah with the WRs he had it's impressive, but man the guy threw the ball A LOT.

Haha, we definitely need to take this discussion out of the "defensive end" thread. :p

I think Bradford is way overrated. Ram fans are already saying the guy is top 5. They can suck balls.

Haha I didn't read all that but..
Gabbert always makes plays when pressures in his face. He extends the play and often makes a completion. And yes Mooche, I've three full games of his.

I just don't get how you feel confident with that guy in potentially a Tennessee uniform..
