National Football Post - The Eagles are making it known that they want at least a first-round pick in exchange for Kevin Kolb.

They may also want a third-rounder tacked onto any deal for the quarterback.

The Eagles are known to be tough trade negotiators, so no one expects them to come too far off their asking price.
Uhhh.

And this is why Kolb will probably be an Eagle in 2011.

First rounder for a guy who's thrown more picks than TDs in his career?

Mark Sanchez is that you?
The Sanchize was also a first round pick, started since day one, and improved big time in his second year. Kevin Kolb is a guy who was drafted in the 2nd round of 2007 and has played less games than Sanchez in that amount of time

So if Kolb isn't worth a 1st rounder because of the INT/TD ratio. How is Sanchez worth a 1st?

Probably because Kolb has never done anything...

Obviously Sanchez hasn't either (outside of the AFC Championships but he can't get a lot of the credit, though we wouldn't have made the playoffs without him) but there's a reason Sanchez was a top 10 pick and Kolb went in the 2nd round

If were talking crazy, why stop at just one 1st round pick. I'm sure they could easily get five 1st round picks and eight 2nd round picks. Only is crazy land.

I'd take Kolb over Sanchez, just saying.

I wouldn't, Kolb doesn't impress me whatsoever. He lost to Washington, Tennessee, and Dallas this season.
And?

The game doesn't rely on just 1 person.

Dumbass.

It's not like Kolb has thrown 4/5 Ints ever in a game to cost his team the game..

Obviously, but when you look at the box scores, their defense played real well in the Washington and Dallas games, and Kolb couldn't get shit done on offense.

The breaking point for me is that in games where Kolb got significant playing time, the Eagles are 3-5. These weren't some scrub ass Eagles teams either, these are playoff teams. He's just not a winner. And he has had one good game in those 8 games, one good game. The rest are average/below average/awful.

No, but he's thrown 3 INTs plenty of times to cost his team the game.

Ehhh, I doubt that'll happen. I can see a 3rd rounder at best, but no way a 1st rounder.
