Jimmy Rollins is making yet another prediction, this time forecasting that the Phillies will win 100 games this season.

Philadelphia has been the prohibitive favorites since re-acquiring Cliff Lee in December.

"I'd agree with that," Rollins said. "That's what we wanted last year. It didn't happen. Nobody was satisfied with losing in the NLCS and winning 97 games. You can never be satisfied with that once you've won the World Series. If you've never won, that's progress. But we have been there, so it feels like we keep coming up short."

Rollins, who famously called the Phillies the team to beat in the NL East in 2007 and then backed it up with an MVP season, is back in the prognostication business.

“Yeah, we’ll win 100 games,” he said. “I really plan on going after, who is it, Seattle won (116) or something recently. We’ll go get somewhere hopefully in that range, but that requires, after being lucky enough to stay healthy, having everybody doing their job on the mound, in the field and in the box.”

I like players who make predictions lol. If one of my Jays players made a prediction to hit like 40 home runs, I'd be happy. Just shows how positive they are and how much confidence they have.

You should a negative attitude towards his prediction, and made it seem like his prediction is not going to happen. Well look at all the predictions Rex Ryan makes, yet you only agree with them., and they have been wrong every time.

Obviously they have a great shot at winning 100 games, when it comes to Jimmy, this looks like his last shot at a ring. His level of play has decreased significantly recently. You can even see where his plateau is in his stats which was his MVP year. If anyone, he needs to step it up dramatically because Jayson Werth isnt there anymore and you know that Utley and Howard are going to do their thing.
