Ngata getting tagged by Ravens.

Excellent move by the Ravens for sure. I mean, this guy is one of the most feared defensive players you don't always hear about in the NFL. He is a force, and he is a nice pillar for this Ravens defense moving forward.

new england still might go after him though, so its not a sure thing he's staying. with 2 1sts and 2 3rds, they have that luxary to do that.

plus, the rules about compensation picks are the picks are the claiming teams draft picks, even if they also have a bettter looking pick. If they dont have their own, then they go with the highest pick.

so NE could get Ngata, and still have the better of two picks


but i dont see that happening, unfortunately

I highly doubt that Ngata will head to New England. Picks and all, a man like him inside who can play the run and the pass so effectively is just too hard to come across.

The Ravens would likely match any offer made for Ngata because he's worth pretty much any contract a team is willing to give him.

They need to get a deal done with him, which they will. No way can that team afford to allow him to talk after next season.
