"It just shows there's a lot of politics in it, man," Aldridge said of Stern's choice. "It's not about leading your team to victories or about making your team better, it's about stats.

"First of all, I have nothing against Kevin Love, he is a really good player," Aldridge said. "But I thought All-Star was about making your team better, making your record better. Keeping your team in the right direction. That's the way it has always been in the past. But now I know: It's about stats, not record."

I'll disagree and say the All-Star team is about the individual and not the team they play for.

Aldridge- Griffin- Love

Points= 22.1- 22.7- 21.1
Boards= 8.9- 12.7- 15.4
Assists= 2.1- 2.5- 2.5
Steals= 1.2- 0.7- 0.6
Blocks= 1.2- 0.5- 0.4
Turnovers= 2.1- 2.8- 2.2
Field goal %= 49%- 51%- 47%
Three point %= 19%- 50%- 43%
Free throw %= 78.9%- 61.5%- 87.8%
Eff= 23.24- 25.60- 29.02

I think the NBA got it right, Griffin and Love over Aldridge.

Roddy B is the 2nd coming of Jesus to some Mavs fans lol
Maple's been good, but even he compared him to Rondo + Barbosa once :p
not hating at all btw. i love the kid too. Carlisle is a stupid ass for not playing him more last year down the stretch. he was kicking the Spurs ass in the playoffs, but he didnt get to play until the series was pretty much over

Coach Jay Triano said his team played with a bit more energy because none of his players wanted to be dunked on by Blake Griffin.

"I wish we could play a big game every night," DeMar DeRozan said. "It seems like every time we play a team with a superstar and a lot of hype around it, we definitely step up."

That shouldn't be a problem with the Heat coming to town.
LOL. Anyways, I'm wearing my DeRozan jersey tonight.

Speaking of Toronto/Miami game, why do we even have a team in Canada? Why don't we keep American money in America?

I for one don't care about our NBA team and wouldn't care if they left. But I know many fans care about them and wouldn't be happy with their departure.

A few years ago I heard they were having attendance problems, I suppose that's not an issue anymore.

I heard that the owner of the Canucks or however you spell is [careless about hockey and don't follow it] trying to buy the Hornets and move them to Vancouver. This would be incredibly retarded.
