I never said what the probability of there actually being a large reward was, I'm obviously aware that it's a minuscule chance.

The high reward of Bartolo Colon is that he can give us 20 something starts with an ERA just north of 4.

Here's the thing, it's the QUALITY of the innings that he provides. Having a guy throw 88 pitches in 3 2/3 innings will destroy a bullpen. The last time that he's thrown for more than 100 IP is 2005. He made 47 starts from 06-09 and had a 5.18 ERA w/ a 1.51 WHIP in those years combined, so lower expectations.

Those aren't my expectations whatsoever, I said that's the potential that he brings. In all likelihood he won't be anywhere close to that, but it's not out of the question.
