Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics will defend his title in this year’s Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Staples Center in Los Angeles as part of NBA All-Star Saturday Night. Rounding out the field are All-Stars Ray Allen of the Celtics and Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Daniel Gibson of the Cleveland Cavaliers, James Jones of the Miami Heat, and Dorell Wright of the Golden State Warriors. Allen won the contest in 2001.

Pierce bested the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry in last year’s contest, scoring 20 points in the final round to capture the title. Jeff Hornacek, Jason Kapono, Mark Price and Peja Stojakovic each won two titles; Larry Bird and Craig Hodges captured three straight.

Anthony Morrow isn't in this?

I wish I could piss on David Stern's shoes.

I'm going with Durant. I don't see Pierce repeating, and Allen is a much better 3 point shooter catch and shoot. Which, is similar to how this contest goes, but it's rather stationary. I'll be rooting for Durant and Gibson actually. Texas alums :D

Gibson and Durant are in this?

What a fucking joke.

Morrow is at the top of the list for all-time 3PT%.

Fuck this league.

I was hoping Morrow was gonna be in as well but I'm still excited for this year's. I think Durant will take it but I'm pulling for James Jones.

NBA.com featured Morrow's pursuit of Kerr’s record. It means they looked at him as one of the best 3 point shooters in the league.

His snub is truly embarrassing for the league. Even more embarrassing than the 2002 WCF.

I would have liked to see Steph in this again. But I'm happy just to see KD, Ray and PP against each other

Why is Durant even in this?

He's shooting 34% from 3PT territory?

This league should be called the 'And-1 Hip Hop League'

Morrow should be in over Gibson, then it would be an even better line up.
