Denver Post - The Broncos have the second overall pick in April's NFL Draft, but they may be opening to trading it.

"We're in the process of setting that board up," new executive John Elway told The NFL Network. "The board is set, but as far as where we're going to go with it, we don't really know until we find out what's going to go on the collective bargaining agreement, because obviously that second pick is an expensive pick if it stays as it is.

"That's what we're hoping, that the collective bargaining agreement comes together quickly, and then once that comes together we can kind of figure out our philosophy going into this draft. Because where we are, we've got three picks in the top 46 picks, so we've got to make sure those hit, especially that second pick."
Really?

If the Union and owners don't get their heads out of their asses, it won't matter if they want to trade or not, because they wouldn't be able to.

This!

Also, There will be nobody worth trading up for, not even Peterson.

If Luck came out, and the Panthers passed, then yeah.. other then that.. goodluck.

Agreed Kam, but teams are fucking stupid. The Jets traded up for Sanchez if I'm not mistaken.

Sanchez' stock was rising bigtime before the draft. The Jags were hoping he would be there at 8 and I heard Gene Smith himself say this. Jets jumped infront of the Jags to draft him. Blaine Gabbert isn't that much of a riser to be a top 5 pick, so nobody will trade up to #2 to get him. Nobody is trading up to #2 to take anybody else.

Sanchez isn't a bad QB and his stock was through the roof before the draft...

I've already seen ridiculous improvements in him as a QB in just his 2nd season and as I've said before, unlike many other professional QBs, he only had significant playing time out of high school for one year.

He still struggles with accuracy at times, but he has cut down his mistakes tremendously. Expect a season similar to Josh Freeman's 2010 season this upcoming year but with more INTs.
