This is incredibly dumb for the T-Wolves. They need to be holding on to their picks (the Memphis and Utah ones) and try using them to trade up into the lottery so they can have two lottery picks. They might be able to keep Kevin Love around if they can draft two good players in this draft.

this also gives them cap to resign kevin and sign another player or players. the wolves are also rumored to be shopping flynn. maybe they land a pick for him. idk.

i think its solid. the wolves know they arent going anywhere, even with the pick. lol.

IIRC Brewer is expiring after this season. He was drafted in the 2007 draft and he's played 4 seasons so his rookie contract is up this season.

Love doesn't expire until after next season so making that trade won't be freeing up any cap space for him.

If they could trade Flynn for a 1st that would be a good idea. This draft has a few nice PGs so they could easily replace him

The Utah pick won't be that high IMO. Might as well keep the memphis one though.

Why is Love a RFA? He's only played for two seasons and isn't a rookie contract two guaranteed years and then a two year team-option?

my mistake, they can offer an extension this season and if doesnt accept hell be an rfa next season.

either way, they need to build around him or atleast show that they wanna build a good team or hes gone. which i think hes dipping anyways.

If he's an RFA, I think they can match any offer for him which I think they would do within reason.

maybe you didnt read the article. There can easily end up being more names added to make all 3 sides happy.

Issues with multi-team trades are resolved so easily, aren't they?

Did you enjoy your shift at the circus today?

I didnt say they can be resolved easily, Jackass.

I said the trade can easily end up including more names -- meaning, this trade is far from complete because there will likely be more names involved.

I'm guessing you skipped English class a lot in Elementary school.

Apparently the T-Wolves don't wanna move Brewer. Guess the media needs to start their made-up trade from scratch

Once again, just because the teams were discussing those players DOES NOT MEAN THAT IS SET IN STONE.

Obviously they don't want to make the trade because they're getting rammed up the ass in it. If they're giving up their 1st rounder and Brewer then they're gonna want something more than Randolph and fat-ass Eddy Curry.

It doesn't mean the story is made up. Donnie Walsh, Knicks GM, has said the 3 are discussing a trade. Doesn't mean its close though. The article on ESPN obviously and clearly notes that more names could end up in the trade to make it work for all 3 sides.

Update:

In fact, Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan has had direct negotiations with Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke, according to the New York Daily News, indicating that talks have become more serious.
--ESPNLA

Chairman, owner, asshole, w/e term they wanna call him. Surprised the douche is getting this heavily involved. I guess he wants to make Knicks fans think he actually cares for a change.
