He's putting up great numbers and all, but I don't think rookies should really ever be in the ASG. They have the Rookie/Sophmore game they can play in. I mean, it's not like he won't ever make an ASG in the future, with his skill set. Unless, he's just going to disappear after this year, but I doubt that.

You guys confuse the shit out of me sometimes. Do you want to reward players for playing outstanding basketball this year or do you want to cut the veterans slack because the younger guys 'might make it a few more times in their career'.

Give the kid the credit he deserves for how well he has played. I'm amazed Miller is bitching about Blake Griffin but nobody seemed to bitch this much about Yao Ming making the team.


And it's funny because everybody said the EXACT opposite for the MLB All Star Game this past summer -- when Stephen Strasburg was brought up as potentially making the team (after 1 career start) everybody on the face of the Earth was like "Well it's about winning and it would probably bring a lot more fans so sure I think it'd be pretty cool if Strasburg made the team this year *makes sound of choking on dick* ."

Seriously, there should be noone opposed to Blake Griffin being in the game.

Blake made the team for good reason. He's not putting up 18/8 which would be great rookie numbers. he's putting up 23/13/4 shooting not 45%, 51%.
