Valid point. However, I think they would be better off taking Houston as a rush end then have Heyward as a DE.

as much as i dont want this to happen, this is true.

When was the last time that a Patriots 1st round pick for a mock draft was correct?

they're had like one correct since 2004, and that was still somewhat off

in the 07 draft, it was projected that meriweather would be the pats 2nd 1st rounder at 28 (they drafted him at 24, their 1st pick)

other thn that, nada

I remember seeing a Mayo to Pats mock, a Chung to Pats mock.

maybe you saw a chung mock, but i doubt you saw a mayo. people thought at the time 10th overall was a stretch for him. the pats had the 6th overall (traded with NOLA for 10th). Like, maybe you did, but it doesnt seem logical

I don't see the Giants taking a RB first round. I think we need a new young LB.

No, I saw Mayo alot of times in mocks to the Pats.

Also, why are you making it seem like the Pats are some super genius draft makers?

All the linebackers avainable would be a huge reach IMO. Other than the top few, the rest are late second rounders to me.
