Multiple tweets confirming, I'm not even going to post them.

Firstly, yes it was a result of the hit but this wasn't Matt Hunwick's fault (though most Bruins fans hate him anyway for other reasons).

Secondly, Damien Cox is a gigantic douche nozzle. It's only fitting that, after he writes an article doing all but showing picture/video evidence that he likes the taste of Sidney Crosby and blaming the NHL for his boy toy missing the All-Star game with concussion symptoms, that news breaks that Savard is out indefinitely with another concussion which wouldn't be a problem had Savard not been subject to a terrible concussion by Mr. "NHL Head Ambassador's" waste of space teammate (check out the article if you don't understand the reference).

Lastly, PC better be on a phone right now getting someone to replace Savard. He's got a slew of draft picks and just north of $4MM fresh off the cap. He NEEDS to do something now. Be it getting a defender or a scorer.

Why the fuck doesn't Savard wear a visor, or a cage when his head is as stable as a beachball?

Because he's a goddamn hockey player that's why.

Unless he was wearing a padded helmet, he was going to get a concussion here.

I play hockey, so does like, half of Canada, and at least 75% of us got visors and cages. It helps prevent injuries.

You're also 14. Does 75% of the NHL wear visors and cages? No. Sure, some players wear visors but the only time you'll see a cage is if a player has his nose broken. Or he plays in the NCAA.

If he did wear a visor, I guarantee he wouldn't be dealing with 3 concussions.

You want to tell that to Patrice Bergeron? Who WAS wearing a visor when he suffered BOTH of his concussions?

Sam how the fuck would a visor change anything. Anyways Visors are hard to see out of as they get cloudy.

Sucks to see this happen, he was such an underrated player a couple of seasons ago. Hope he gets better.

They do prevent your head from banging all over the place.

Proves how much you know about hockey Sam......

A visor won't do shit. A mouth guard believe it or not is one of the best things to prevent a concussion.

Which Savard wears. Instead of just talking, watch the hit. Hunwick made a clean hit and Savard got caught in a bad place.

The only reason this is a problem is because of last year. Which had nothing to do with visors, mouth guards, or bad luck...

No, he doesn't. He wears a CCM helmet, not a M11.

I was posting before you posted the part about the helmet. I was talking about the mouth guard.

Who cares about a helmet. There are so many what ifs. You posting that helmet is just a scapegoat because you know a visor wouldn't help.

That helmet is concussion-proof.

SMH. If Savard was half smart, he'd spend the money, and save a few brain cells.

What proves its concussion proof?

And are talking about him just retiring, and taking what he's got?

Tell it to Hemsky too
and Crosby
and Booth
and Pominville
and every other player that has had a concussion over the past couple years.

Why don't you get some money and buy some common sense. You've COMPLETELY missed the point since you brought up visors and cages. The only reason this is an issue is because of PAST occurrences.

You have a time machine? Please, go back and give Savard one of those helmets in March and we wouldn't have this problem.

And, forget just Savard, if these are so concussion-proof, why hasn't the NHL made these helmets league policy? Aren't they to blame then too?
