I'm wondering how all these teams under .500 will do next year, along with which teams that finished .500 or above that will do worse. Just never know year in and year out. That's why we watch.

Well, the Bengals will be back, I do have confidence in that happening. If we improve some positions and get everyone back that we need, we'll be fine. Our defense was decimated by injuries last year and still played rather well. Just need to get the offense clicking again, a new offensive coordinator would be nice.

They should be, but who knows. That's why I didn't include the Lions in what I said. This is about the team that will be the most successful of the teams that finished under .500. Lions could be that team, but I don't believe they will be. I could see a 1-2 win improvement next year. I don't see them with the same record or doing worse.

I'm just really like the direction the 49ers are headed. Out of all these teams.

Given the weak division that they are in, they should be good. I expect them to be real good in a few years.
