ESPN.com - Darrelle Revis thinks New England's Deion Branch just needs to move on.

Branch called some of the Jets "classless" for their postgame celebration after Sunday's 28-21 upset win over the Patriots in the divisional round of the playoffs.

"Just take the loss like a man, just take it like a man. And move on," Revis said on Monday afternoon. "[The Patriots] do stuff as well. I don't know who was doing it or whatever, but if so, whatever.

"If they would have won, I'm sure they would have probably did ... the taunting, like they do. Last game we played them, their secondary was doing the 'airplane' [a Jets celebration] and just teasing us. So you've got to take it both ways when you win or lose. When you play, just try to prove people wrong and win the game, that's all I can say."
I agree with the part that is in bold.

Revis with the "bigger man pwn'

I love that dude, if only he would been able to come to Jacksonville to play like he wanted to.

Yeah, where in the world did you get he wanted to play with Jacksonville from? Can't find anything on the internet that would even hint at that.

Jonathan from Jacksonville
You've stated in the past that had the Jags gotten Revis in the draft, as they had hoped, they would've won at New England in the 2007 playoff game. After watching the Jets upset in New England, all I could think was, “Vic was right; if we had just had Revis that night.”

Vic: I genuinely believe the Jaguars would’ve made it to the Super Bowl that year if the Jets hadn’t traded up one spot ahead of the Steelers and selected Darrelle Revis. The Jags had a deal with the Steelers worked out. Revis was the Jags’ guy. They loved him and he wanted to play here. I’ve had guys tell me Revis’ pre-draft visit to Jacksonville was like no visit by a player this team has ever had. He flat told them he wanted to play here. Frankly, I’ve never seen anyone like Revis. He mirrors receivers as though he is the receiver. Deion Sanders closed on the ball better than any cornerback in history, but not even Sanders could mirror as Revis does. He’s incredible.

I'm sure he's 10x happier where he ended up anyway.

Comparing the talent between the two teams makes it easy enough to guarantee that the Jets are the better team to play for if you want to win.

Thats funny, because last time I checked.. the Jags beat the Jets last time we played each other.
One of the Jags biggest problems is pass defense, which would of been really better if we would of had Revis. People really don't know how much he helps the Jets. He helps the DEs get sacks with Coverage sacks.

And the Jets weren't as good last season as they are this season, we've gone over this.

I'm well aware of what Revis means to the Jets. He's one of the big reasons behind why we put Brady on his ass 5 times on Sunday.

Exactly, so you can't say it'd be better playing for the Jets.. because nobody knows what could of happened.

Obviously all the variables are impossible to predict, but any way you slice it, I just can't come up with the Jags going to back-to-back AFC Championship games and being serious Superbowl contenders.

They're a team on the come up, but they're still a season or two away.

if the Jags signed every freeagent and hired a foot fetish fool for a HC.. maybe we would.. never know.. you have different players and coaches.. Revis could of made a impact and he could of changed everything.
