Josh McDaniels reportedly leaning towards Rams
Josh McDaniels’ return to the NFL is expected to come within the next 24 hours, and it sounds like he’s headed to St. Louis.

NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reports McDaniels is close to deciding between the Vikings and Rams, and that he’s “probably” going to pick the Rams. McDaniels would then be paired with Steve Spagnuolo, his adversary in Super Bowl 42.

It seems like an easy choice for McDaniels considering Sam Bradford’s presence in St. Louis.

We’re a little surprised the Rams would be so quick to go away from the scheme that worked for Bradford as a rookie. There also has to be some fear that McDaniels could wind up leaving town in a few years, robbing Bradford of the continuity so many top quarterbacks are afforded.

Fuck, I guess this means we're gonna end up making a run at Chris Palmer...who can't be too comfortable with his job security as a UFL head coach.

Early this morning, former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels appeared to be ready to become the offensive coordinator of the Rams.

But it doesn’t look like that’s the case anymore.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that talks between the Rams and McDaniels are breaking down, and as a result the Rams are seeking permission to talk to other assistants to fill the role. Those assistants include the Falcons’ Bill Musgrave and the Vikings’ Darrell Bevell, but the Jaguars have denied the Rams’ request to speak with Jacksonville offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter.

Musgrave, meanwhile, is also interviewing with the Browns and Vikings over next the next two days for their offensive coordinator jobs, and Bevell could still end up remaining in Minnesota.

Listen here kid.

I know Garrard is a bum, however.. Bradford still right now is "OK" at best.. hes not in top 10.. prolly borderline top 15. He'll never be a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.. Think Matt Schaub.

There's still hope McDaniels ends up in Minnesota...but now he's rumored to be heading to Seattle for an interview.

The Rams could've locked him down if they weren't being so cheap.
