Well, I know it's too early for predictions.
But the Lions were a decent team with QB troubles. In my honest opinion, Stafford won't last 2 more seasons with the Lions. So I think if Jahvid Best stays healthy that the Running Game will dominate and could lead to some good openings with Play Action passes. I also think that Vince Young would be cool to acquire just because it seems that the QB spot is revolutionizing with dual threats (sort of with Mike Vick and Tim Tebow). The Defense seems pretty tight but we should do something to get Joe Haden or draft Greg Jones at LB and have him be a backup for sometime.

All and all, the Lions seem to be getting stronger and could beat the Bears in another battle.

I don't want Vince Young lol.
Haden would be impossible to get.

Don't be such a doubter, I think Stafford will be fine.

I think Stafford will be fine too. Lions just need a few more pieces. They are close. I'd like to see them get Greg Jones, along with Prince(if he is still on the board). Secondary is the biggest issue, obviously. Then, LB depth, some OL adjustment, and a solid 3rd receiver would be great.

I want to see us go after best available on defense in the draft, regardless of the position.

Oh we will. I would prefer CB first, but if that's not the case, i'm not all that worried because I know that will be addressed. I have confidence that we'll have another solid draft.

I agree. We couldn't really go wrong with any position of defense.

I could see the Lions going 8-8 next year as long as Stafford stays healthy. Maybe 9-7. Stafford is a good QB, I like him.

For me, best case is 10 wins. Worst case is 8 wins.

I just don't see how Dual threat QB's are revolutionizing anything. You mentioned only two QB's. Mike Vick is in his 30's, and this was probably the best season he's ever had, and Tebow has done jack shit so far.

People are overrating the Lions' finish to the season. They beat the Packers with Matt Flynn, the Vikings with Joe Webb on 4 days rest, etc. They aren't winning 7 games next year...

I don't see how anyone is overreacting. The Vikings & Packers aren't the only teams they beat, they played most of the year without Stafford and beat some good teams. Better defense, offense should get better, I don't see why they can't win at least 7-8 games. Quit basing it off of their past history, it's a new team.

Lol CC. We will win 7 games next year.

It's all good Dustin, no one will jump on board till they do it cause the Lions losing culture. But when we do have a good season next year, I'll be one of the few with the last laugh.

Yeah, I'm sure the bandwagon will fill up pretty quick, when it does happen. They have a lot of good players on that team with good coaches.

Good QB, Offensive line has gotten a lot better, good WR's (Could use another), Good RB, Good TE, decent FB, good defensive line, could use some help at LB and CB. Maybe another safety aside from Delmas. Once those key positions are fixed, watch out! This team has a lot of good young talent, once it's all put together, good things are going to happen.

People fail to realize we were a couple plays away from a 8/9 win season last year. We learned to close out games too late in the season.
