According to the Palm Beach Post, free agent Ronnie Brown will "almost certainly" not be re-signed by the Dolphins.
Brown, coming off his worst season, is headed for his age-30 campaign. While he's got less wear on his tires than a typical 30-year-old tailback, it's fair to believe Brown's inevitable decline started in 2010. The Patriots have been rumored as possible offseason suitors. With Ricky Williams also a free agent, Miami's backfield will have an entirely different look in 2011.
Damn, I didn't even know Brown was 30. Sucks for him, it seems just like yesterday him and Carnell was drafted in the top 5.

NE makes sense, but it's a limited time share at best. They'll move F Taylor and S Morris out and maybe K Faulk. Woodhead, BJGE and Brown and then add some special teamer's.

30 is the wall for running backs, usually. It'll be interesting to see who gives him a chance.

I can see the Pats, Bengals, Saints all as possible places.

I think you're mistaking the Pats for the Jets man.

kam isn't a Pats fan and I honestly can't remember the last time New England went after and signed a "big" free agent (guys like Fred Taylor, to me, don't count in that category).

is it just me or do pats fans think they will sign everybody?
you mean every old semi washed up out of their prime, player? i never hear about the pats wanting to sign an actual impact player. in terms of "new" player.

edit: as a lions fan, i dont expect us to sign everyone. lol

i said pats fans, not the pats themselves lol. seems like in every FA thread there are pats fans talk about signing someone.....that they wont.

Last "big name" FA the pats signed was Adalius Thomas IIRC....
