The Palm Beach Post reports:

James not only scored 44 points, including seven in overtime of a 107-100 win against Portland, but also guarded center Marcus Camby during the overtime. And he did so, even while enduring the usual hostility that always greets him on the road.

“I’ve grown accustomed to it,” James said. “I enjoy it.” Early in the season, he said it was harder to deal with the booing “when you’re not as comfortable as you want to be. But right now, we’re very comfortable together. I’m very comfortable. And I’ve kind of accepted this villain role everyone has placed on me. I’m OK with it. I accept it.”

Miami has won 21 of their last 22 games, including an amazing 13 straight Ws on the road.
Still LeCarlton to me

Dude needs to stop talking and just play basketball. Then people wouldn't hate. Seriously, nobody cares that you've accepted the "villain role" or call your trio "The Heatles." Just STFU please.

You do realize that most of his statements come from post game interviews? It's really the journalists who ask stupid questions like if he's adjusted to this villian role. What's he supposed to do, say nothing?
You act like all he does is call out press conferences to tell us what he has on his mind.
I'm sure LeBron wouldn't mind that, but come on, lots of things get blown out of proportion in pro sports.

Oh and, last time I checked, he plays basketball. Pretty fuckin well.

Idk who views him as a villain... I mean, I know about 90% of non-heat fans view him as a dickhead, but not as a villain.

Can we stop making a new thread about LeBron everytime he turns on the television or eats a bowl of wheaties? It's getting annoying. If you just ignore him, he'll go away.

His twitter post tonight wasn't brought about by a reporter... You obviously misunderstood my post. My point is, LeBron needs to just stop talking. It's like every time he opens his mouth he just draws more hate, so please just stick to playing basketball and not doing stupid "What should I do?" commercials. I never said he doesn't play basketball well, that would be the most idiotic statement someone could make. I'm just saying, it's probably in his best interest to not open his mouth in public.

Actually his Twitter Post makes me kinda like him. I mean, especially how the Cavs owner was such a dickhead in his public statement to the fans after LeBron left, and he promised Cavs fans they would win a title before LeBron...

I'd rather see LeBron stand up and be like "Yeah, fuck you all" instead of saying a something and then sidestepping with a pansy-ass apology for his statement or w/e. He's being the villain. He's embracing it... I love it!

Yeah. I love it only because it makes the game much more fun with rivalries like that. Even if it makes us hate the players.

I didn't hate what he said about Karma and all that. That's the only one I haven't minded so far. The rest of the things he's said it's just no need to even say it. I don't care that things get blown out of proportion. That's expected. Especially when you get the attention he has his whole career. The thing about calling themselves The Heatles pissed me off more than anything.
