Actually, he made a fool of a bum ass CB last year and he a made a fool of our safety last night. He took a horrible route and he was responsible for the coverage underneath on that play.

+1.

Plus, Peyton Manning threw the ball perfectly.

Mad at what?
Bad because you blew the chance that you had to make the playoffs? Mad that you won't get a franchise quarterback in the draft this year?

Mad because Reggie Wayne is 30 times better than any WR on your team?

We didn't choke worth shit. Sorry that our practice squad guys didn't come up clutch. Sorry that Peyton is still better than Dirty Sanchez, and when he's gone, we'll still have a solid team, because as per kam "there's lot of franchise QBs in the fraft"

I will say that at least the Colts made the playoffs. They have the second best quarterback in the NFL, and have been littered with injuries at key positions all year. Yes, when Manning leaves they will suck for a few years. Favre left the Packers but they have obviously made a comeback. Tom Brady will retire too, everyone does. The Colts are a dynasty, theres no doubting that. They mave have one superbowl win, but they're still in contention year in and year out, which most teams are not. The Jets a few years ago weren't, the Bucs were shit last season, the Lions haven't done a God damn thing in the modern football era.

We all know that the Jets' don't stand a dogs chance against the Patriots, if BC want's to argue that then by all means let's have at it.

And if by some devine way of God they do beat the Pats', which they won't, theres no way in hell they beat the Steelers.

I'm not mad at anything.

I look at it like this, this is Del Rios make or break year, to be rebuilding for 1 year and to almost win the division title tells alot about how well this team is progressing. Gene Smith has did a well job with this team so far, yet he still has some positions to get "Safety/QB/LB/DE" after that thought.. we could be on the same level of the Falcons right now. Difference between the two teams is that one has a Franchise QB, and the other has a Vet QB who is just a game manager.

Cam Newton
Ryan Mallett
Blaine Gabbert
Pat Devlin
Christian Ponder
Jake Locker

are all Franchise QBs in this draft, doesn't matter where they come from, they all have the intangibles to be franchise QBs.

QBs that Gene Smith can trade for that could well become Franchise QBs

Matt Flynn
Kevin Kolb (Who both Gene Smith and Jack Del Rio wanted in the draft, but Shack Harris took FS Reggie Nelson instead.. Jags could make a real push for him)

There are Franchise QBs out there to be gotten. I think you don't understand what a Franchise QB is exactly... I'll name all the franchise QBs in the NFL.

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Joe Flacco
Matt Cassel
Josh Freeman
Matt Stafford
Mark Sanchez
Aaron Rodgers
Mike Vick
Sam Bradford
Matt Ryan
Drew Brees
Tony Romo
Eli Manning
and Etc.

Franchise QB is a QB who the franchise has dedicated to move forward with and stick with for years and years to come to be "That Guy" the really great QBs are considered "ELITE QBs". Which is what you're thinking there aren't any in this draft class. Well they have yet to still play in the NFL so you never know, every player has their flaws, but also have their good qualities about them.

I would love to argue this with you, considering we've already beaten both teams you said we stand no chance against.

This isn't the regular season anymore. Both teams have more than two rings this century. To the Jets zero.

I think that may give them a bit of an edge. But then again, so does the absolute sluaghter of New York in the last game against New England.

Let's not forget that the Colts barely won their division and New York beat them on a field goal as time expired.

A franchise QB is a guy that can lead his team, and will be an elite quarterback. He'll actually play games, and he'll do something productive for the team.
How the fuck do you have Tony Romo, Matt Stafford, Sam Bradford, Matt Cassel, or Josh Freeman listed as franchise quarterbacks.
Romo is good for one thing. Choking, and being hurt. And if you're so critical of Peyton being a choker, then why the fuck do you list him on there? At least Peyton can stay healthy. Matt Cassel, as proven today, is not a franchise quarterback worth a shit and a half. A franchise guy will LEAD his team, and give them a chance at winning. Cassel is not that guy.

The others have potential to be there, but are not there yet. And honestly, Stafford already scares me with his injuries.

Back to the topic of WRs- I forgot that you guys had such a great year.
