Well thats a nice gesture. I wish it would have been to the last row people instead of the front row though.Brandon Jennings' cool gift to Bucks fans
By Kelly Dwyer
Brandon Jennings(notes) is going through a rough year. His Milwaukee Bucks team is on the outside of the Eastern playoff bracket as things currently stand, Brandon is shooting under 40 percent from the floor, and he's about a month away from returning to court action after fracturing a bone in his left foot in a game last month.
But things are looking up. The Bucks have had to slog through the league's toughest schedule so far in 2010-11, and though things aren't getting any easier against the vaunted Miami Heat on Friday night, they'll take to the league's easiest schedule from here on out.
On top of that, Jennings received a nice bon mot on Wednesday as he was named to participate in next month's Slam Dunk Contest, and in a nice show of "thanks for hanging with us," Jennings decided to give a signed pair of his Under Armour sneakers and a letter to each and every fan in the front row present at the Bradley Center tonight in Milwaukee.
Pretty cool move, even if we suspect those fortunate enough to be sitting in front row seats as the Heat visit could afford a signed pair of kicks anyway.
Either way, get well soon, Brandon. Sweet shoes, too.
