ESPN - Jack Del Rio will return to coach the Jaguars next season, according to a source.

Jacksonville owner Wayne Weaver has not made his decision public, but he is expected to address the media late Monday.

The Jaguars (8-8) ended the season with a three-game losing streak, blowing a chance to clinch the AFC South.

credit part of their 3-game slide to MJD's knee practically giving out on him. Played the entire season on a torn meniscus and had a nice stretch of 100+ yard games. When you lose your star RB, who is the majority and focus of your offense, it's like a bullet went into the hearts of your offense. Tough to overcome that.

They gotta add a piece or two on defense and they'll be a solid team again next year. They may have slid off at the end there without MJD, but the Colts will be sweating in preseason.

Next year will definitely be the telling year for the future of Del Rio in Jacksonville, they are going to have high expectations going into next year. They were a few plays/players and injuries away from making the playoffs this year, it'll be all on Del Rio's shoulders next year.

If you get another QB, which I believe you will, depending on who it is, I believe you guys will be fine. We'll see what they can do with a real QB.

Need a few improvements on defense, maybe another WR. Secondary has a tendency of getting beat a lot.
