LeBron James isn't sure it's a smart idea to enter this coming February's dunk contest at All-Star Weekend.

James admitted Friday that he often considers committing to the event, but he goes back-and-forth.

He said at some points he tells himself, "Yeah, I'm going to do it," but then he thinks about the wear and tear on his body.

This year's dunk contest is Feb. 19 in Los Angeles.

Wasn't he suppose to be in it last year smh............

I do however think LeBron should enter. I honestly am absolutely disgusted by the way these "stars" treat the Dunk Contest, as if they do it they'll tear their bodies up. Now I'm not an expert on player health and w/e, but I've never seen it a common occurrence for NBA players to get injured during the contest, or even "worn out" or w/e. I honestly think it's their bullshit little tactic of avoiding the term "i'm fucking scared".

It doesn't take much to win it. I remember LeBron won it and his dunks were just normal dunks but with his head at the rim.

Yeah, actually if I recall Blake didn't really deserve it either. I remember he stood at the foul line backwards, bounced it through his legs off the backboard and dunked. Then tried to act like he invented that dunk haha.

James Flight White was decent. And I think Andre Emmett was pretty good. BUt most the time it comes down to if you make a dunk you win. I don't remember seeing DLee.

Griffin has put together some crazy dunks this year. The one against the Knicks was insane he literally threw it in.
