Explain the best possible format for the playoffs. Possibly having a regular season winner and basically starting over with the playoffs, getting most everyone involved. Or, we can leave off of the regular season standings and points but there's only a few that would want that, I'm sure. Explain how we can make the playoff pick'em fun for everybody.

I think some people should be eliminated from the playoffs. I voted for other. What do you think if we have like 8 or 6 or however many people, then do head to head for the rounds. Only problem is a tie.

I had a 10-6 week, which I thought was bad, but it was good enough to get me 2nd place.

We'll see what everyone else thinks. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't think starting over with points would be fair. Unless you eliminate people from the playoffs.

It wouldn't be real fair for the front runners, especially RipCity32 who has been basically 1st the entire year. How about have two separate divisions? Like the top 5-10 can battle from where we are currently, then we can have another division for those who haven't had the chance to do it every week or who have missed a few weeks.

I dunno I think if we start over. We do head to head. Where Rip would get the bottom seed whoever that is, and whoever gets the most games right wins and moves on. If its a tie, the tie goes to the top seed (for putting in their picks all year).

The thing I don't like about weekly matchups/do or die is for those that have done this every week, they aren't really getting any credit in any way. One bad week and you are done, everything you've done throughout the season is basically all for nothing. I mean, if I do it one way, somebody won't like it, if I do it another, somebody won't like it so I mise well leave it as is. Like they say, don't fix it if it aint broke. I would just like to give everybody a chance to get in it, is all I'm saying. Like the top division can be for the winner throughout the entire year, the other can just be for those who haven't really been doing it every week, just something to make it a little fun without affecting the main guys. Seeding basically does you no favor, it's all about your luck for that given week.

One thing we have to remember, this is just for fun, we don't get anything for winning this. However, I don't want to ruin it for those that have been here, making their picks every week because I appreciate people doing this, it's been fun.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think its more important to have a playoff system that benefits the long-timers rather than the not-so-long-timers. I don't really think they should be given an equal chance to win it.

Or we could have a Regular season winner and Post season winner, splitting it into two. Meaning everything you did in the Regular season basically doesn't account for anything in the playoffs. I don't know, I'll think about this and try to come up with the best possible scenario for everybody.

If this had a lot more meaning behind it, I'd definitely understand, but it's just for fun. We mise well have a Regular season and Post season.

I think just keeping it how it is might be a good option (or Plan B). Everyone cast their picks...what happens happens.

We just need some more people to vote on it. I think I know which direction I want to go with it, we'll see. Don't want to make anyone go irate over this.
