Charles... Hillis' 8 more TDs makes up for the YPC.
Thomas Jones...has gotten a few sympathy goal line td carries...and bowe has had some stat padding goal line tds too.

JC...is the 2nd leading rusher and is averaging 6 yac. Be angry more...about MJD or something because he definitely didnt deserve it more than JC or Arian.

Didn't deserve it more than MJD either. 6 straight 100 yard games, while his TDs weren't alot like usual, he carried his team on his back. Had more 10+ yard runs than any RB IIRC.

I like Jamal Charles, he's a tough runner, a great back...but if I had to pick a pro bowl selection between the two...I'm going Hillis. You have to take into account a players' value to his team...sort like a sabermetric way of looking at the argument. Is Charles important to the Chiefs? Fuck yea...but Matt Cassell more often decided the outcomes of their games. Peyton Hillis was the Browns offense, period.

MJD doesn't have Bowe, or Cassell either. I think he deserved the starting spot.

They've been equally important..he's been playing great this year. A great example was the St. Louis game...they were right back in the game after a long drive. We needed to get the ball and get some first downs. 1st play of the series...Jamaal takes it 80 fucking yards.

The bills game..Jamaal carried us.

Jamaal deserved it more. Hillis could take vonta's spot or something. But JC deserved it...I've never heard of the 2nd leading rusher in the nfl...not supposed to make the fucking pro bowl.

They aren't equally important TYO. First off, if Jones can't go, the Chiefs have Jones. If Hillis can't go, the Browns are fucked. Kansas City has the much better quarterback, the better O-Line, and no, Josh Cribbs doesn't measure up to Dwayne Bowe as a target downfield. Moeaki...I mean the list goes on.

OK, you can use the "more important to a team" argument, but I say that Charles put up better stats on a better team. Point blank.

You haven't seen Thomas Jones as of late...

JC has better stats aside from td's I believe on less carries and is on a playoff team like cc said.

This game is about individual achievements so my point only makes more sense. Charles put up better numbers because he is on a better team.

Ryan Lilja should get a LOT of credit for what he has done. He was never great with the Colts tbh, but with the Chiefs he's been a great asset to the team. He deserves to start in the Pro Bowl.

That's not true. Like you said, Hillis is the #1, and possibly only viable offense on that team - he's going to get plenty of touches. Meanwhile, Charles touched the ball about 70 times less than Hillis and still bested him by over 200 yards from scrimmage.

If our team was so well rounded...wouldnt that mean that he would have worse numbers than hillis since he has to share the wealth with a emerging TE/Pro Bowl WR/ and a 10k yard rusher.

And yet he still has more yards than him...and JC didnt even start at the beginning of the season.

Your not looking at it the same way. You're looking at it like...Hillis gets more touches and is still less productive than Charles. Me...I'm saying Hillis gets more touches because he's all his team has for offense and Charles is also carrying less because the Chiefs have a good quarterback w/ a passing attack. Charles definitely benefits from the better offensive line and the much better balanced offense.

CJ2K isn't happy:

“I think it’s bogus,” Johnson said, per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. “I figured I should be a lock. I am top three in the league. . . . I didn’t think there was a way I wouldn’t get in. It was disappointing. I was surprised. But there’s not much I can do about it.”

21 interceptions making brees rank 2nd in interceptions in the NFL doesnt scream pro bowler to me tbh...rodgers should be there instead of brees. Rodgers=biggest snub imo. Im surprised Hillis didnt make it considering what he means to the Browns
