ESPN - A pair of Texans fans are planning a rally for Sunday to make the point that coach Gary Kubiak should be fired.

Brad White and Scott Carter are hoping the demonstration before Sunday's season finale against the Jaguars will help convince team owner Bob McNair to change coaches.

"I want to stress that I don't want people to come out to bash Kubiak," White told the Houston Chronicle. "We don't want vulgar signs out there. We're not there to bash him. We're there to say that we want a change."

It was evident last season that the Texans need a change. They have the talent on their roster, they've shown that they can win, and the Colts are dwindling.

No excuse that the Texans continue to suck a fat one & miss the playoffs every season.

do they really need to stage a rally? I thought the consensus in the sports world was that Kubiak was basically history after Week 17.

They need defensive secondary help more than a new coach...someone tell them to add that to their bullet points for their rally.

When you play against Peyton Manning and you have no secondary...... That's a big issue.

I honestly don't think they need people to say anything. Kubiak is gone. Just isn't cutting it.

I don't think Kubiak is gone. They will just fire the defensive back's coach and the defensive coordinator and hire somebody like Wade Phillips/Marvin Lewis.
