Buffalo News - Buffalo restaurateur Russell J. Salvatore has single-handedly saved the Bills from a blackout during this Sunday's game against the Patriots.

He made a last-minute purchase of between 7,000 and 8,000 tickets.

"The timing couldn't be better. It's Christmas. It's the last game of the season. What a way to go," he said

I know the Salvatore family, they're from Rochester, and I went high school with his son. They own a pizzeria chain in the upstate area, very popular, and he's got serious dough.

Guarantee he didn't make that dough selling pizzas (pun intended). He's working for something that "doesn't exist."

lol alright... I live in NY, I'd know...
No, you think you know. A group of fat Italians who claim to be a mafia...doesn't make them the mob. Unfortunately for Little Italy, there's a little think called forensic science that doesn't permit them to operate like they used to anymore.

These days, saying there's a mob is like claiming there's Bloods in West Virginia slums. They think they are...but they really aren't.

I'm 100% Italian and my grandfather (RIP) was a dirty NYC cop who had a lot of mafia ties. They're still around.

They are still around...the Mafia isn't. Maybe it's still around in theory but no...there are no more italian crime syndicates, no more knocking off whoever is in your way, no more charging the entire neighborhood a fee for "protection", and no more robbing trucks and setting buildings and cars on fire. A bunch of old italians get together for a card game & talk about family ties. They all have some money, drive cadillacs, fine suits, and carry pistols. This is about this Mafia you all think is still around today, really is.

This is the fucking 2000's...all that shit died 2 decades ago.

America was better when they were around IMO.
I'd do anything to be part of the mafia back in the day.

My mom used to work as a secretary for a landfill owned by the Gambinos. Shit still goes on, just not as much as it used to.

I'd love to know how many bodies are buried in that thing.

Well they get caught, but not after a while.

I live in a crappy town in Connecticut and the capo of a crime company got f-ed finally like, 4 or 5 years ago. FBI was watchin the big guy's every movement for like 2 years. The guy fucked up though -- started paying boat loads of money to the town for all these improvements, rebuilding he football field and the stands and all this shit. Owned 25 small garbage disposal companies in the state -- worth just over $100M apparently.

It's not as big and well-known as it used to be, but they get their money... oh yes, they do.

The 1920's were far from "dope" Pugz. You would've been living in a crowded, immigrant slum.
