I'm so pissed UCONN got in. There are 25 teams that are ranked above them, yet they still get a BCS birth.

Can't wait for the Bowl games to get underway, always see some great football. Hopefully the Buckeyes put the whoopin on Arkansas, which I believe they will. I don't believe Ryan Mallett is for real, time will tell. He'll be playing a good Buckeyes defense. I haven't watched Mallett much this year so this will be my chance to see him play. I'm just not sold on him.

Mallett is definitely a bit of a project. It seems like the common trend this year for the quarterbacks coming out (minus a few guys). However, I think this is going to be an awesome place for his draft stock to rise, or fall drastically. Big game, big stage, and he is playing against a good defense in OSU. I'm really excited for this game.

That's the thing about bowl games. There more than just games. They improve or hurt the players stocks that are going into the draft, helps or hurts schools with recruiting, bragging rights between conferences, conference pride, mostly match-ups of teams for the first time, etc. That's why I love watching them. Also because you just never know what'll happen.
