The professional basketball career of Yao Ming could be over.

The Rockets announced that an MRI revealed Yao had suffered a stress fracture of the medial malleolus in his left ankle.

Team doctors believe the injury is related to the fractured tarsal navicular bone, which Yao suffered in the 2009 playoffs, an injury that caused him to miss the 2009-10 season.

I haven't died. Right now I'm drinking a beer and eating fried chicken. What were you expecting, a funeral? Right now, I still hope I can come back and play.
