And could someone explain to me how Manu's last second shot last night wasnt a travel?

It looked to awkward to be a step back, plus he jumped back using both feet instead of just one.

Blown call IMO

Let's wait for both O'Neal's and Perkins to get back first...

We played a very hard fought game against them and almost won if we had like another .2 seconds. Its another great step that we are making towards becoming a great team. We didnt get blown out which just a year ago we would, the culture has changed and thats what I wanted to see last night. Time to add more pieces around Amare to take that next step.

tbh

Its almost at the point where I dont think we even need to worry about Melo this season, I just say that now because of what we've done so far.

What we really need is a defensive big, someone who will bang with the opponents star big man every night, someone who rebounds well and athletic enough to keep pace on our offense. A DeAndre Jordan type player but not him.

Not to say we shouldnt still go after him this offseason, cause that just another weapon on the floor and DubC could bolt if another team throws enough money at him.

But on a side note Id really like to see A-Dolf get some PT. His versitality playing the 4 could compliment Amare....

I agree with getting A-dolf some more playing time. I do disagree with trying to go and get Camby. I would much rather prefer a big who is young and we can kind of mold into the type of system we play. Idk maybe someone like Anderson Varejao? He's prolly not available, but he would be a great compliment to Amare. Or what about Marc Gasol? D'antoni is big on the european players and maybe he could work with Marc very well.

I honestly don't think he traveled. He just jump-stopped backwards.

True Varejao would feed off that MSG buzz lol

Never like his game but thats the kind if player we need. I doubt Memphis gives up Gasol, he's starting to become one of the better centers in the league.

I like Camby because his game fits us perfect, he can run the floor, block shots, hit that 8-16 foot jumper all day, which is almost a must because Amare will still want to have free reign in the paint to do as he pleases, age is a problem though but he's proved to be one of those savvy vets who changes their game as the athleticism wears away.

Turiaf seemed to be a good fit but just hasnt found his niche, I dont think he knows his role on the team tbh.

But maybe A-Dolf and Turiaf for Camby? I dont see why they wouldnt do it, you get a solid replacement big and youngin with upside.

Damn I wish I had Donnie's number lol

As for Manu, I mean I guess it was just an ugly step back, his game is very awkward so Im guessing the refs took it as that lol

^ LOL Amen Pugz. I don't think he traveled that's just a Manu/Euro/Backwards Jumpstop Move.

he may have traveled, i dont think so, though. but that being said, i watch what he does and get confused but when i play basketball i actually have his little two step down pretty good.

anyone wants to talk about traveling, last night towards the end of the knick game when felton dished it to amare and he went down the lane and dunked it.... he hopped and took two steps - no dribble.

So its time to bring in a defensive big without a doubt, I say go after Camby, rumblings are the Blazers might start moving some vets...
The Knicks have looked into the availability of Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla, Alan Hahn of Newsday reports.

"I've been told that the Knicks have looked into the availability of Joel Przybilla as the Trail Blazers appear ready to break up that injury-riddled team. The dream would be to land Marcus Camby for a decent price, but let's not get carried away," Hahn writes.

Manu either walked or pushed off but neither was called.

I'm pissed about the Manu thing. They keep getting lucky in these games with <Censored>ty teams...They could have easily lost to the T-Wolves twice and now the Bucks
