This could make the East so much more balanced and much more competitive because the stars will be spread out. Seems like a lot of players out of the West are coming to the East nowadays and it's making the East stronger each year.

Everywhere I read, said Melo is definitely not signing an extension with the Nets. So unless something has drastically changed in his mind, I don't see it going through.

Probably worse but some think Melo just wants a change of scenery. I think he just wants to team up with Amare and get some glory in New York. Like Lebron could of done.

This is why I didn't see Melo in NJ and didn't get excited over the earlier trade. What was going to come out of it?
NJ really isn't that much better of a place for Melo to be in like it has been said.

The Nets could still go after Cp3? But I don't see that happening either. Interesting situations.

Guess we'll have to wait to see what happens.

Who knows what the Nets are going to do? No one's going to want to be traded over there unless someone else signs there or gets traded there. If Paul was already there, I could see Melo going there. If they have cap space that is.
