Denver Post - Kyle Orton will remain the starting quarterback for the Broncos, according to interim head coach Eric Studesville.

Studesville had been asked if he might use rookie Tim Tebow instead of Orton. Fans in Denver have been lobbying for the Broncos to give Tebow more snaps.

"Kyle's going to start Sunday," Studesville said of Denver's upcoming game against Oakland.

Orton has slumped the past two games, completing only 40.6 percent of his passes for just 283 yards with no touchdown passes and three interceptions.

Not surprising at all that a lot of Denver fans want to see Tebow. This was the mess the Broncos were getting into, when you want to take a guy as an experiment like Tebow with that high of a pedigree and following from College.

I'm all for it though. :D

I exclude my boy Bid'Ness when I say: Broncos' fans are football dumb. Take a look at Brandon Marshall's stats compared to Brandon Lloyd's stats & then re-evaluate your thoughts on Kyle Orton. Perhaps the most underrated passer in the league...he has put up over 3600 yards this season, with no consistent ground game & ZERO support from the defense.

Teams tend to air it out a lot when they're constantly behind in games, like Denver.

Any yet they're constantly playing from behind b/c they have no defense.
^^^Message approved. Right now Orton is just going through a terrible funk plus after the sunday's game against the Cardinals he also has an Rib Injury, but Orton is willing to play through the pain.

this is what happens when your new head coach takes a controversial risk/reward project in the first round....then you fire him.

Might as well roll him out there at some point. I think the sit-QBs-for-a-few-seasons is out of date w/ what's been going on lately. Unless he has no grasp of the offense, (which I'd think he's further along), let him play a few series. It's not as if Denver will be playing in the post season.

It's easy to lay blame on certain players during a poor season but Kyle Orton is definitely the least of concerns for the Broncos.

No way Tebow should start, Orton is doing a fine job, he's just in a bad spot right now with everything going on. He'll improve.
